The Walking Dead Webisodes Receive WGA Award:

At Sunday night's Writer's Guild of America Awards, John Esposito and Greg Nicotero picked up an award for the first ever Outstanding Achievement in Writing Derivative New Media for their work on The Walking Dead webisodes.

The webisodes were written by John Esposito and directed by Co-Executive Producer and Special FX Makeup Designer Greg Nicotero. Esposito and Nicotero had been up against web series
Jack Donaghy: Executive Superhero (tied to NBC's 30 Rock), Mortal Kombat: The Web Series and a Sons of Anarchy web series (FX).
